How does Green Plus Work?


Arafura Container Ship Fuel Economy Results - Auxiliary Engines

The chart and graph below show how much fuel the Arafura used in the auxiliary engine during the trial period. It is the auxiliary engine that powers the refrigerated units (reefers) in the ship.

Note: The data below shows that when Green Plus was present the auxiliary engine used less fuel despite a higher average use of reefers.
