Can Green Plus hurt my engine?
Absolutely not. Green Plus has been put through over 50,000,000 miles of testing and has been used by individuals, trucking companies, ocean-going ships and cities worldwide for over three years. Through all of this, Green Plus has never had a negative effect on a treated engine.

How do I put Green Plus in my fuel?
With larger ships, trucking companies and cities, Green Plus is added to the bulk fuel tank so that treatment is done at the pump. It can also be added individually to vehicles through convenient pour-bottles.

Does Green Plus change the octane?
No, the octane number of the fuel does not change. However, it has the same effect as changing the octane. By adding Green Plus to your fuel, you will eliminate pinging and knocking. The vehicle will also run smoother, just as if higher octane fuel were added.

What does Green Plus do to cetane?
In tests performed by Biofriendly, the cetane was raised.

Does Green Plus affect the lubricant engine oil?
Yes. Green Plus reduces carbon deposits, which are the main cause of engine wear that produce metal deposits in the oil. This causes better performance between oil changes, increases the life of the engine and reduces engine metal deposits by up to 50%.

Does Green Plus raise the temperature of the combustion process?
No. Green Plus actually lowers the temperature of the combustion process. This is done by lowering the temperature needed for the fuel to combust by enabling the oxygen in the air to more completely combine with each hydrocarbon molecule. This means that more energy is available for the expansion from the combustion process producing more work or power and thus less heat is created.
